The “Ventiņi-lībieši” Cycle and Foot Path

object-info

Description

Tārgale rural territory is part of the cultural and historical area Līvõd Rānda, where local people preserve ancient traditions. Ventspils municipality is crossed by the EuroVelo 10th cycle route, Biking South Baltic, and EuroVelo 13th cycle route, Iron Curtain. Both are a great way to discover natural values, cultural and historical heritage and to get to know people and their life today. The extension of the Ventspils Būšnieki Lake cycle path improves the accessibility of the Livonian coast and nature reserves and provides an opportunity to further develop the international cycle route along the Baltic Sea coast.
